Project Two 50 will Not Be Racing Budd’s Creek
ByDo to unfortunate circumstances, Project Two 50 was not accepted for the Budd’s Creek National.
Here’s the scoop…
Mike signed up to get his Pro License in early February this year. Unfortunately, he received e-mail confirmation of his license just 3 weeks ago. According to the rules you need your credentials before signing up.
Mike’s girlfriend Jackie finally figured out a way to sign him up without the credentials, but it was just before the deadline last week. When the entry list was published we were not on it.
Since this happened I have read the rules pertaining to race entry, they take privateers on a first come first served basis. I guess we just got our entry in too late. We did attempt to find out if there was a cancellation so we could slip in, but it didn’t work out.
What’s the deal? I thought we were in a recession or something, over 90 Pros signed up for the 450 Pro Class at Budd’s Creek!
One of our challenges is that we did a good job promoting Project Two 50, but have been building the bike and team on a very limited budget. Not always a good combination!
I’m so sorry about these set-backs. Everyone has been really supportive of our project. For that we are eternally grateful, much more than you know.
Currently our entries are pending for Red Bud, Unadila, Southwick and Steel City. I will update as soon as I have confirmation.
Thank you for your continued support.
